About Us

 Chappaqua Chinese Cultural Association (CCCA)

The Chappaqua Chinese Cultural Association (CCCA) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to promote understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture through educational, artistic, and community-based programs that foster cross-cultural communication and strengthen community cohesion.

CCCA was established following serveral years of volunteer-led cultural events that introduced Chinese traditions to the broader community. Since 2023, our team of parents, educators, and volunteers has organized annual Lunar New Year celebrations, Chinese art and music workshops, tea ceremonies, calligraphy and craft classes, and cultural lectures in partnership with local schools, libraries, and community centers. These programs provide hands-on opportunities for residents of all backgrounds to experience and learn about Chinese heritage in engaging and inclusive ways.

By formally organizing as a nonprofit, CCCA aims to better coordinate volunteers, secure funding, and expand its educational outreach. Future activities will include developing year-round cultural education programs, supporting school collaborations, and hosting public cultural exchange events. Through these efforts, CCCA seeks to build bridges among diverse cultures, enrich the cultural life of our region, and inspire mutual understanding, respect, and creativity across generations.
